Valentine’s Day Puppy Chow

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. I know, it feels like it was just Christmas. Before you know it it’ll be Easter. So today I’m sharing this Valentine’s Day puppy chow. It’s incredibly easy-to-make and the ingredients are widely available. I actually didn’t even get out of my car to shop for the ingredients– Target pick up FTW.

Valentine’s Day Puppy Chow Ingredients

Rice Chex
vanilla candy coating
powdered sugar
Valentine’s Day sprinkles
Cupid’s Mix M&Ms

Start by putting the Chex in a large bowl that has a lid– this is important. I have a designated puppy chow bowl. Every time I make and store puppy chow, it’s in this bowl.

Prepare the vanilla candy coating according to the directions on the packaging. Once melted, pour it over the Chex.

Gently mix the Chex and candy coating together. I like to use a rubber spatula.

Add 1/3 of the sprinkles bottle to the Chex and vanilla coating mixture and fold together. Pour in another 1/3 of the sprinkles bottle and fold together. Add in the powdered sugar, put the lid on the container, and shake together.

Finish by adding in the bag of M&Ms and shaking everything together so it becomes Valentine’s Day Puppy Chow.

Put your Valentine’s Day Puppy Chow in individual bags and pass out to people you like or sit on your couch and eat it out of the bowl while watching You on Netflix. You do you. I’m not here to judge.
