Jewelry Organization

This post is brought to you by Command™ Brand. As always, opinions are 100% my own.

I was over at my friend’s house couple weeks ago and noticed her interesting jewelry organization technique, or should I say lack of jewelry organization. She had all of her necklaces and a bracelet hanging on a plastic hanger. I’ll give her some credit though, necklaces were hung on each side of the hanger. But still it was still a pain to get the necklace that’s on the very bottom.

messy jewelry

So I told her I’d be back to help her out. I returned last week for our weekly playdate with a bag of organizational goodies. We selected a section of wall in her bedroom and got to work.

Materials Needed

Necklaces and bracelets to organize
Command™ Quartz Jewelry and Scarf Rack – this project used one
Command™ Jewelry Rack – this project used three

Note: Follow all Command™ Brand package instructions for proper surface cleaning and prep, adhesive strip placement and recommended weight claims.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Grab your jewelry – necklaces, bracelets, etc. – as well as your Command™ Brand products. Determine where you want to create your organized jewelry station and follow all surface prep instructions on the back of the packaging.

Following package instructions, mount one Command™ Quartz Jewelry and Scarf Rack to the wall.

Following package instructions, adhere one Command™ Jewelry Rack to the wall next to the jewelry and scarf rack. Repeat to mount two more jewelry racks in the arrangement of your choice. This project alternated the three racks to create a horizontal “zig-zag” formation.

Hang one piece of jewelry from each knob or hook of the racks. Be sure to hang items back up after use to keep jewelry from getting tangled or damaged.

So much better, right?

Isn’t this Command™ Quartz Jewelry and Scarf Rack adorable? I love the quartz knobs.

We decided to hang the Command™ Jewelry Racks in a zig-zag pattern because we really liked the look. Plus, if she wants to add a couple more, all she has to do is slap one on on each side.

This is also prefect for renters, or to use in dorm rooms since they’re easy to remove.

And the best part about this? It took us all of 15 minutes from start to finish. Cha-ching.

Now my friend and I joke that she’ll be able to actually wear these necklaces again in a few years when her baby outgrows the grab-and-yank-mom’s-necklace phase.

Be honest, who keeps their necklaces on hangers, but now wants to adopt this organization method?

Easy and inexpensive jewelry organizer!

Perfect! I especially like the fact that it’s nearly invisible. Great idea.

I agree! The clear organizer is perfect for someone who doesn’t want something flashy.

Love these, now I have to get them! I like that they’re pretty AND damage-free. Where did you find yours? I didn’t see them at target.com so I wonder if the store carries them yet?

I found them at Target, BUT they’re a couple bucks cheaper at Amazon. There’s direct links to them in the post. 🙂

“Good job. The organizer looks so lovely, it even works as a wall decorative. I need to know if you have any ideas for rings and earrings organization. I have plenty of them, most in silver and gold. Some of them are expensive like my sapphire and diamond studs and tanzanite earrings. It is difficult to lock them in safe every time after use. So I need a more convenient storing option. ”
