Flowerama
This post is brought to you by Lowe’s. As always, opinions are 100% my own.
Remember a month ago when I planted flowers in all our back patio planters, and we planted our vegetable garden? I even made a fancy schmancy video to document the yearly momentous occasion. Well I thought I’d give you an update on their growth.
As a reminder, here’s what the planters looked like right after I finished planting them.
Here’s what some of the them look like now.
Big difference a month makes, eh? I don’t think I’ve ever had flowers multiply like this. I credit it to the Sta-Green potting mix mixed with some compost and lots of rain.
Check out all of those petunias. I love how they spill out of the planters.
Million bells are one of my favorite annuals to plant.
If you have a small patio like me (ours is 10 feet by 12 feet), planters are a great option to add color and greenery to the space.
I’m able to fit a large grill, garden stool, love seat, two chairs, coffee table, and ten planters of various sizes on our back patio.
Since everyone loves before and afters. Here’s this pretty, blue planter when I planted it last month.
And here’s how it looks now.
I feel like it usually takes a couple months for the flowers and greenery to fill in so I’m really happy that it only took a month. I can’t wait to see what everything looks like another month from now.
Our vegetable garden is also doing really well. Here’s what it looked like a month ago right after we planted the tomatoes and lettuce.
And here’s how it looks now. Salads for everyone!
I can’t wait for the tomatoes to come in. Buying tomatoes at the grocery store is overrated.
What did you plant in your garden this year?

I’m so impressed! Your plants are loving life. I think you need to come to my house to help me with my gardening!
Your flowers are beautiful! I have to keep on top of my petunias to pick the dead ones off about everyday. This year on my window box I mixed some petunias and sweet potato vine. Wish I had bought some million bells, your colors are really pretty. We planted tomatoes, cucumbers, and corn in our garden. Nothing better than home grown tomatoes. Happy Gardening!
You may have answered this in the previous post about the planters but where did you get the bigger plant pots? I really like them! I wasn’t sure if they were from Lowe’s or ones you already had.
