Moss Covered Initials Tutorial {Monograms}

I’m making these moss covered initials (our first names– C and B) to decorate our ceremony and reception space for our wedding in June. So far I have the C done, so I thought I would share how I made it.

Supplies

Paper Mache Letter (I used a 23.5″ letter from JoAnn Fabric.)
Spray Paint
Moss Table Runner  (I got mine at Michael’s.)
Hot Glue Gun
Scissors

Sharpie

Directions

These can easily be displayed on an entryway table, mantle, or used as a door decoration.

Here’s the finished product– the letters and mossy ampersand.

Here’s how they looked at our wedding.

    O my goodness I am so glad I saw this!! I was about to buy pieces of moss- that would take forever!! So anyway if I go to a crafting store like JoAnns will they just have moss table runners?

    Did you leave the backs of the letters bare, with no moss? I was wondering if that is why you
    spray painted them green.
    Thank you
