Master Bathroom Sources

The other day I shared our master bathroom refresh so today I thought I’d share some details about the room and the sources for everything in the room.

The space around our garden tub has always driven me insane– it’s such a weird layout and terrible use of space. I honestly wonder what the architect was thinking when he designed this floor plan.

While not completely ideal because I think the space could be better used for additional built-in storage, I’ve found a solution that I’m happy with for now.

I wanted to fill the wall space, so I partnered with my pals over at Minted for the large, framed art print. I love the print, and I can’t see myself getting tired of it because it can work in any room. The majesty palm also does a great job of filling the awkward space.

I don’t take baths but I thought if I added a bathtub caddy, I’d be tempted to take more baths and relax. So far it hasn’t worked, but it does help the bathroom look more spa-like.

I talked Brad into adding some brushed nickel hardware to our vanity. Now it looks slightly less builder-grade.

We use the basket on the back of the toilet for extra toilet paper. The extra-extra toilet paper is stored in our master bedroom linen closet, and the extra-extra-extra toilet paper is housed in the garage.

You can see our shower stall in the reflection of the mirror. It’s nothing fancy but it gets the job done.

Aaah, I just *knew* it was an Emily Jeffords print! I’ve been eyeing her “Mornings Away” print on minted. The abstract landscape look is A++ and the colors tie in nicely with your bathroom!

Thanks, Shannon! Mornings Away is really pretty– love the greens and grays.
