Ingredients

Cookie Cake

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Icing (optional)

  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

Cookie Cake

  1. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and sugar.

  2. Add vanilla, followed by eggs, one at a time. Mix well.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.

  4. Gradually add flour mixture to large bowl.

  5. Stir in chocolate chips.

  6. Spread mixture in 11.5” by 10.5” heart shaped or round pan, or 14 inch pizza pan.

  7. Leave approx. 1 inch of space between dough and pan to allow for spreading.

  8. Bake at 375 for 25-35 minutes.

  9. You may need to gently shake pan while baking to get dough to spread.

Icing

  1. Cream butter.

  2. Beat in sugar.

  3. Add milk.

  4. Add more sugar or milk to get desired consistency.
