Two Twenty One Reader Survey

I’ve been wanting to do a reader survey for a long time.  I’m always curious about who reads all this stuff I yammer on about and what they think about all my yammering.  So I created a reader survey for you guys to kindly complete.  Well, it’s actually two surveys because Survey Monkey only allowed me to have ten questions per survey, or I’d have to pay for a pro membership (no thanks, SM).  Survey One mostly pertains to Two Twenty One and blog reading habits, while Survey Two mostly pertains to reader demographics.

The surveys shouldn’t take you too long to complete.  And don’t worry, these are completely anonymous– your names and IP addresses won’t be recorded.

To take the surveys, I recommend right clicking each image below and selecting “open link in new tab” so you won’t have to worry about coming back here to take the second survey after completing the first.  Sorry I’m too cheap to pay $25 for a one-time survey.  I hope you understand.

I’ll share the results of the survey next week.

Thanks so much for taking the time to tell me about you!

The Container Store

Last week some other Indy bloggers and I were invited to a private preview of the new Container Store, which is now open.

This was my very first time in a Container Store.  Holy smokes, guys, it’s like an organized person’s paradise.  I could easily spend hours in there.

Some things I learned while touring the store:
1. The have over 80 different hanger styles. 80!
2. Over 540 products to organize your kitchen.
3. Over 700 office products.
4. Over

Married!

Why, hello.  Long time, no blogging.  I have a good excuse though.
Brad and I were married 10 days ago on Saturday, June 25th!

It was beautiful!  The weather was gorgeous.  We had 120 friends and family there to celebrate with us.  All of my wedding DIY projects looked fantastic at our venue.  Everyone was so sweet,
telling me how I did a wonderful job and how everything looked so beautiful.

There was a cloud of sadness that hung over the day.  At 9:45, I was getting my makeup done in my bridal suite, and my cell phone rang.  It was my dad– calling to say that my 91 year old grandmother had just passed away.  She would have been 92 on the following Wednesday.  She had been ill for the better part of 5 years and in a nursing home for almost 2 years.  I think I was in shock most of the day– there was so much going on that it was hard to believe that she had passed away.  Since our wedding day was only one day that couldn’t easily be repeated, I decided that I would put on a brave face and enjoy myself as much as possible.  I told myself that I could be sad the days after the wedding.  I’d like to think that my grandma wanted to be at the wedding so badly that this
was her way to attend– in spirit.

On the Wednesday after the wedding, Brad and I traveled the 3 hours to my hometown for my grandma’s visitation and funeral.  It’s been kind of a whirlwind the past two weeks.

We spent this weekend trying to get our house back to normal (it’s still a mess though) and finishing the landscaping we’ve been meaning to do for over a month now.
Brad and I are going on a
mini-honeymoon this upcoming weekend.  I’ll be sure to post photos when we get back.

Here’s a sneak peek of our mini-honeymoon destination.

Shut the front door!
When I started two twenty one exactly one month and one day ago I never imagined that I would have 10, let alone 101 followers by now.
A huge thank you to those that have deemed two twenty one worthy enough to follow.
I know it sounds corny, but every time I would log on and see that I had more followers I would instantly get a smile on my face. The same goes for when those of you leave me your wonderful and kind comments. It truly makes my day.
I’m so very thankful for each and everyone of you!
You’re the best!
