Holiday Gift Wrapping Station with Martha Stewart™ with Avery™ + $100 Staples gift card giveaway

With the holidays quickly approaching I decided to make life a bit easier and create a holiday gift wrapping station in my home office with the help of the Martha Stewart Home Office™ with Avery™ collection which Avery sent for me to try out. To say that I’m excited to utilize this station and the products in it is an understatement. Prepare yourselves, organization lovers.

My stenciled file cabinet was put to work, becoming the base of my station. I topped it with the Stack + Fit™ organizer. Isn’t it pretty? I used the Stack + Fit to organize my gift tags, holiday shipping tape, ribbon, scissors, pen, and holiday gift bags.

The Martha Stewart mitten and stocking shaped gift tags are the most adorable gift tags I’ve seen. They rank up there with puppies in the adorableness department.

I used the back part of the Stack + Fit to organize my gift bags and a red and white striped padded shipping envelope.

Have you seen the festive Holiday Shipping products Martha has come out with? They’re available in-store at Staples. Definitely more cheerful than slapping someone’s gift in one of those boring, yellowish brown, padded envelopes. And check out the awesome holiday-themed shipping tape.

Instead of throwing all my coupons in my purse, I decided to organize them in this Shagreen Accordion File. When I go Christmas gift shopping I’ll throw the file in my car, and when I arrive at the store, I’ll grab the coupons I need. I’m sure this method will be ten times more stress-free then spending five minutes digging through my purse.

I hung this Shagreen Pocket, which comes with thumbtacks (thank you, Martha) above the file cabinet. I filled the pocket with address labels in a Corner Lock™ High Capacity Document Sleeve and addresses and return address stickers in another Document Sleeve. This area will definitely come in handy when it’s time to send out Christmas cards.

I used a large galvanized container to hold my rolls of gift wrapping paper. Care to guess my favorite paper? Hint: mittens.

I used some boxes I already had to organize my gift bows and tissue paper. I used these great Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery Chalkboard Labels to mark the boxes. The Chalkboard Labels are such a great idea because when the holidays are over and I put the holiday stuff back in our attic, I can erase the labels and use the boxes to store something else. The labels are also removable, an added bonus.

And there you have it.

Bring on the holidays. This chick is organized and ready.

I’ve been looking at Pintrest for a cute, festive, sophisticated and clean way to wrap my gifts this year. I usually just buy some crappy wrapping paper and slap a tag on it but this year I really want to step it up. Man, would this $100 gift card be out to work!

I’d love to buy the stackable organizers and other desktop organizers to help complete our command center!!

I love her collection! Everytime I go to Staples, it’s the first area I visit :) A lot of times there are 50% off coupons on her “Tip of the Day” emails. The coupon is usually at the bottom of the email.

I keep desperately wishing there were a Staples closer to me. I think there is and then realize it’s Office Max or something else not Staples and it keeps making me sad. I love pretty much all organization. I keep thinking the perfect storage solution would keep my office at home from being a disaster. So, I would love anything that would help me tackle that mess. It’s embarrassing really.

This is a beautiful and convenient set up! I haven’t started my Christmas shopping yet, but a gift card to Staples would help me get set up with a wrapping station! And with all of the birthdays in my family, that wrapping station could be used year-round.

  5. Lisa Rohrbaugh says

Oh my, I love your Christmas wrapping station. Red is my favorite color and I Love the way you incorporated red in your items. Any chance you could tell me where you got the wrapping paper, especially your favorite, the mittens. I just love the Martha Stewart line and am anxious to try it.

I love the Shagreen Accordian file for coupons. I usually keep them paper clipped together by store in a folder, it works, but not quit as organized as I want it to be. This system would be great and I could continue to use it throughout the year, bonus! And the holiday tags are absolutely adorable.

  9. Sally says

Cute! I used some of the Martha Stewart supplies when I was wedding-planning earlier this year. The silver bookplates and silver sticker-labels are my faves; I’d love to grab that shagreen pocket you used for your coupons too.

Wrapping gifts is a real fiasco in my house… sitting in a pile of paper and bows while the dog and boy string ribbon and tape around…. Suffice it to say I would benefit from ANY organization help!

  11. says

Ooooh this is fantastic! I would love to have an organized wrapping station, and not just for Christmas! Right now I have everything shoved into a Rubbermaid tote underneath my bed, but it would be so much handier to have it out/displayed somewhere. I love all the of the items, but I think the Stack & Fit takes first-place for me. There are so many things I could organize with one of those :) Thanks for hosting this great giveaway!

They came out really good (and so simple to make) and she was very happy. Now it’s my turn to make it for my new home. Thanks for your great ideas!

I’m rather disappointed that the contest ended early. The official BlogHer rules say it doesn’t end until 5 pm Pacific time. It’s only 10:30 am.

  40. Betty says

I’m going to go ahead a comment even though Rafflecopter shows the contest is over.
I am not ready for the holidays at all. Every year I seem to be less organized. I think my New Year’s resolution this year will deal with organization.

Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your
articles? I mean, what you say is important and all.

However imagine if you added some great visuals or videos to give
your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but
with pics and videos, this website could certainly be
one of the very best in its field. Very good blog!
