Since painting our kitchen back in August, I’ve been daydreaming about updating the room with curtains and other decor. My daydreaming intensified when I heard about the World Market HGTV Passport to Style Sweepstakes, where the grand prize is a $10,000 World Market gift card. I could definitely do some damage with $10,000.

I headed over to World Market and picked out some things that I’d love to get my paws on for our freshly painted kitchen. Since it’s fall, I was somewhat inspired to go with fall colors, but I think the color scheme would work with the mint walls.

I love all these cute ceramic egg crates popping up. And who could deny those awesome bud vases in the wire caddy? Some pretty spider mums would look great in them. I’ve always loved Matryoshka dolls, so when I saw this cookie jar I had to put it on my list. I think the glass pendant lamp would look awesome above our kitchen sink. And seriously, how cute is that apron? I thought I’d round off my list with these beautiful curtains and matching napkins.

Loooove World Market! I had the same oak cabinets and I painted them. It was a HUGE pain, but SO worth it! I did my tops white and the bottoms a mossy green. My kitchen is about a 1/4 the size of yours and it sucked, so I feel for ya when you decide to attack it.
I don’t think we have World Market up here but I LOVE all the stuff you picked out!
I painted my cabinets, totally worth it! It was tough, but very rewarding. Use BM advance cabinet paint. It cures up nice and hard.
