A few weeks ago the people at Scentsy contacted me and asked if I wanted to try out one of their beautiful warmers and their great fall scents. They asked me to create my own signature fall scent by mixing their Scentrend trendiest scent of 2012: Pink Pepper with some other scents. I never thought of mixing scents, so I was up for the challenge.

I never thought of mixing scents, so I was up for the challenge.
I was very scientific with my mixing. My methodology? Smell all twelve scents they sent me, choose my three favorites, and combine them with the Pink Pepper. I should have been a scent scientist. There’s such a thing, right?
My four scents were Sheer Innocence– orchid, freesia, wild violet with a dash of ginger, RU N2 Me– pink pepper, deep woods, cassis (smells like men’s cologne), Ace– tangerine, lavender, chocolate, amber (smells like men’s cologne), and of course Pink Pepper– sweet and spicy, with a bit of floral. Can you tell that I’m a little obsessed with the scent of men’s cologne? Perhaps it’s because my husband never wears cologne.
The result of my scientific combination was delightful– a wonderful blend of sweet, spicy, and warmth. Basically, it’s the perfect scent. And the warmer does an amazing job filling our entire house with the scent.
Now here’s the fun part: you guys get to help me name my signature scent!

I used to make my own scents when i was in elementary school… i called it “mixing all of my moms lotions together before she got home.” half the time it turned out to smell pretty good! Of course, my sense of smell when i was in elementary school might be different than my sense of smell now… lol.
